Other clients

  1. Add the server URL as a remote MCP server.
  2. Sign in with Penneo when prompted.

Needs Streamable HTTP and OAuth support. Local-only (stdio) clients can't connect.

Your permissions

You sign in on Penneo. The assistant can only do what your user can.

Private documents

PDFs go straight to Penneo through a secure upload link, up to 100 MB each.

Fair use

60 tool calls a minute per user. Over that, the assistant waits and retries.

Troubleshooting

I'm asked to sign in again

Your session expired. Reconnect the Penneo connector in your client.

The connector won't connect

Check the URL ends in /mcp, and allow pop-ups for the sign-in window.

I see "Too many requests"

Wait the seconds shown, then try again.

Can I build my own client?

Yes. Any MCP SDK works with the server URL; sign-in is discovered automatically.
